

Ferris Provincial Park offers ample hiking, boating and fishing opportunities for day-trippers and campers alike. With 163 campsites in a variety of settings, Ferris Park suits the requirements of any camper. The day use area of the park boasts two large picnic spots suitable for gatherings of any size. The day use picnic shelter, refurbished by the Campbellford Rotary Club, is an ideal location for family gatherings, company picnics and special events.
The park provides an easily accessible boat launch, complete with its own scenic picnic area. The upper loop of the boat launch area houses a well-equipped playground generously donated by the Friends of Ferris. Be brave! Take a walk on the Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge; a newly constructed 300-foot long bridge that offers spectacular views of the Trent Canal, the town of Campbellford and Ferris Provincial Park.
With over 200 hectares of wood and fields, hiking and walking are popular activities for all ages. The variety of wildlife, birds and flowers in addition to the scenic views along Ranney Falls , offer an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Your choice of three trail systems provides for a variety of complexity, length of hike and charming beauty. For the safety and enjoyment of all park users, pets must be leashed at all times.
