Project Background
The Campbellford Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion has started a project that will honour all local veterans who were born or resided in the Campbellford/Seymour area before enlistment.
The names of these men and women who served in World War I, World War II, and the Korea War will be placed on a permanent monument suitably located within the Campbellford cenotaph area.  It is currently planned that the names of veterans of the Peacekeeping and Afghanistan missions will be added at a later date.

Veteran Name Search & Verification
The name search was undertaken by Ann Rowe and her staff at the Campbellford-Seymour Heritage Society.  We are thankful to the Society for their expert assistance in the gathering of the names that we have listed here.    The final draft of the veterans list can be viewed below in pdf documents:

Project Fundraising
Our fund raising for this project has begun.  The cost associated with the project will be in the range of $15,000 to $20,000.  A special account has now been opened to receive donations.  Contributions can be payable to the Campbellford Royal Canadian Legion and sent to:Campbellford Cenotaph, photo by Paul Dalby
