NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS
COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT/ COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following applications under Section 45 and Section 53 of the Planning Act will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment / Council on June 5th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hastings Civic Centre, 6 Albert Street East, Hastings / Municipality of Trent Hills:

1. Severance Consent Application B16/2018
Concession 10, Part of Lot 25, 3776 10th Line East / 3838 10th Line East, Seymour Ward
The application proposes to create one (1) new parcel, being approximately 2 acres (vacant land), from approximately 109 acres, in which the severed parcel will serve as a lot addition and merge to the adjacent lands located at 3838 10th Line East.   The retained portion contains an existing residential dwelling and agricultural outbuildings. 

2. Severance Consent Application B17/2018
16 Grand Road / 15 Canrobert Street South, former Town of Campbellford
The application proposes to create one (1) new parcel, being approximately 17.8 square metres acres, being severed from 16 Grand Road.   The severed parcel will serve as a lot addition and merge to the adjacent lands located at 15 Canrobert Street South.

3. Severance Consent Application B18/2018
Concession 6, Part of Lot 7, 658 6th Line West, Seymour Ward
The application proposes to create one (1) new parcel, being approximately 4 acres (with the existing surplus residential dwelling and outbuildings), from approximately 104 acres.   The retained portion is vacant land.  Zoning Amendment Application C15/2018 has been submitted in conjunction with this application.

4. Severance Consent Application B19/2018
Concession 4, Part of Lot 10, 223 Sandy Flats Road, Percy Ward
The application proposes to create one (1) new parcel, being approximately 2 acres (vacant land), from approximately 26 acres, for residential building purposes.   The retained portion contains the existing residential dwelling.  Zoning Amendment Application C16/2018 has been submitted in conjunction with this application.  

5. Severance Consent Application B20/2018
Concession 2, Part Lot 16, 1668 County Road 8, Seymour Ward
The application proposes to create one (1) new parcel, being approximately 2 acres (with the existing surplus residential dwelling and outbuildings), from approximately 100 acres.   The retained portion is vacant land.  Zoning Amendment Application C17/2018 has been submitted in conjunction with this application.

The following applications will be heard by Council, following and upon the completion of the Committee of Adjustment meeting noted above.

1. Rezoning Application C15/2018
Concession 6, Part of Lot 7, 658 6th Line West, Seymour Ward
The purpose of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to recognize the creation of one new parcel, being the severed portion of Severance Consent B18/2018, in an approximate size of 4 acres (with the existing surplus residential dwelling).  The current zoning of the subject lands is Rural, Agricultural, Environmental Protection and Environmentally Sensitive.   The proposed zoning for the severed portion will be Rural Residential. The zoning for the retained portion will be Agricultural Exception (*), in which no residential building permit(s) will be issued for this parcel of land.  All Environmental Protection and Environmentally Sensitive zoning will remain in place.

The purpose of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to recognize the creation of one new parcel, being the severed portion of Severance Consent B20/2018, in an approximate size of 2 acres (with the existing surplus residential dwelling).  The current zoning of the subject lands is Agricultural and Environmental Protection.   The proposed zoning for the severed portion will be Rural Residential.  The zoning for the retained portion will be Agricultural Exception (*), in which no residential building permit(s) will be issued for this parcel of land. All Environmental Protection zoning will remain in place.

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation, either in support of, or in opposition to, the application.  Written submissions can be made to the Clerk of the Municipality.
