Trent Hills Service Delivery Review

The Municipality of Trent Hills is currently undertaking a Service Delivery Review.  This is a process in which all municipal services are reviewed to ensure they are being delivered in the most appropriate and cost effective manner.  It is an opportunity to take a step back and look at what we do to determine if there is a different or better way to delivery services. 

Public feedback on municipal service levels is welcomed and encouraged.  Please let us know your level of satisfaction with our current services and identify any areas you feel could be improved or changed.

Background Information

A completed Service Delivery Review allows Council, staff and the public to gain a better understanding of the services the Municipality provides and may initiate a discussion and exchange of ideas on various services leading to one or more of the following outcomes:

  • A confirmation of current services and delivery practices
  • A need to investigate further service delivery methods and/or levels of services
  • A desire to implement new opportunities or directions (e.g. add, delete, adjust services and/or delivery methods)

The services of each department will be reviewed to identify opportunities for improvement and adjustment.  There are a total of 7 departmental reviews that will take place over the next 2 years:

  1. Water and Wastewater - complete 
  2. Administration/Corporate Services - complete
  3. Roads & Urban Services - complete
  4. Finance - in progress
  5. Recreation - complete
  6. Planning/Building/Community Development - complete
  7. Fire/Protective Services- in progress

Areas of improvement and/or change are identified based on the analysis done by the review teams as well as from input from you, the public.  The mechanism for input will vary with each departmental review.
