Bylaws & Enforcement

By-law Enforcement is responsible for providing services to ensure the health and safety of the public by enforcing the by-laws and policies set by Council.

Principal Responsibilities of the Department include:

    • Responding to public complaints of property standards and by-law violations.
    • Investigating and prosecuting property standards and by-law violations.
    • Issuing parking tickets and provincial offences notices.
    • Preparing documents for court hearings.
