Hastings Hydro Management Committee

Hastings Marina Management Committee

The Hastings Marina Board of Management is mandated to advise and recommend on safe and efficient operating and service practices.

Project Advisory Team

The Project Advisory Team consists of practicing or retired engineers and/or professional trades people.  The team reviews or provides input and direction on proposed capital and construction projects as needed on a volunteer basis.

Heritage Advisory Committee

The Heritage Committee is mandated to advise and assist Council on all matters relating to buildings and areas of architectural and historical significance.

Warkworth Revitalization Committee
The Warkworth Revitalization Committee is mandated to provide recommendations regarding the upgrading of the streets and  buildings of the village.

Line Fences Committee
The Line Fences Committee meets on an as-needed basis to arbitrate disputes between neighbours involving the construction, repair or maintenance of a fence on a property boundary line.

The Committee of Adjustment meets monthly to discuss and approve or deny severance applications and minor variances.

The Property Standards Committee meets on an as-needed basis to hear appeals involving orders issued against an owner due to the standard or condition of a property.

Police Services Board

The Police Services Board is a five member board consisting of (2) two Council Members, (1) one Community Representative and (2) two Provincially appointed Representatives.  The Board meets as required and works with the Ontario Provincial Police in setting up policing priorities for the Municipality.

Public Library Board

The Public Library Board is set in place in accordance with the Library Services Act that consists of one (1) Council Representative, three (3) Community Representatives and three (3) School Board Representatives as appointed by their respective Boards of Education for setting up policies and priorities for the three (3) Public Libraries located in Warkworth,      Campbellford, and Hastings.

Cemetery Board
A board appointed by Council responsible for the administration, management, care, maintenance and improvement of the Warkworth and Stones Cemeteries.
