Protective Services
Responsible for providing services to ensure the health and safety of the public
Principle responsible of the department include:
- Issuing dog tags and kennel licenses
- Training and supervision of Crossing Guards
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Police Services Board
- Emergency planning
- Issuing taxi, canteen and exhibition licenses
- Supervision of cemetery services
- Processing livestock claims and tile drainage applications
