The Trent Hills Public Library Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Graeme Peters as the Library’s new Chief Executive Officer.

“We are excited to have new leadership in place at Trent Hills Public Library and look forward to working with Graeme” states Jennifer Marshall, Board Chair.  Graeme officially assumes the position on July 5, 2021 and will be based out of the Campbellford branch.

Graeme brings a wealth of experience to the role, including 9 years of progressive library management experience in public libraries in Ontario and New Brunswick. Most recently Graeme was the CEO of the New Tecumseth Public Library.  He holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Western Ontario, as well as a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.

“I very much look forward to serving the community in my role as CEO of Trent Hills Public Library.  The pandemic has shown the importance of libraries to their communities, and libraries have an active role to play in assisting with the recovery.  I can’t wait to work with our staff to make our library system the best it can be” said the new CEO.

The Trent Hills Public Library provides a wide range of programs and library services to the residents of Trent Hills from its three branches.  Currently the Library is offering curbside service to patrons until such time as public health guidelines permit public libraries to reopen fully.
