The Effect of the proposed Fee Revisions adjustments are intended to reflect the true costs of administering the various Building Permit categories and to ensure that the general tax revenues are not required to subsidize those Building Permit processes, as per BCA 7.(2). These proposed revisions are identified on the attached draft Schedule H, highlighted and reflect the following amendments:

To update Administration and Additional fees in Schedule H
To add fees to cover Designated Structures
To add fees to cover Property Information Requests
To add fees to cover Transfer of a Permit and Permit Change of Use
To add fees to cover Alternate Solutions
To add fees to cover Building Permit Deposits
To add fees to cover Register and Discharge of Building Orders on Title
