Zoning Amendment Application C16/2023 - Des and Kim Conacher / Richard and Diane Johnston
Subsequent to Severance Consent Application B23/2023, the purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to recognize the creation of one (1) new parcel, being approximately .35 hectares (.87 acres). The current zoning of the subject lands is the Rural (RU), Environmental Protection (EP) and Environmentally Sensitive (ES) Zones. The proposed zoning for Severance Consent Application B23/2023 will be the Rural Residential (RR) and Environmental Protection (EP) Zones. The zoning for the retained portion, being approximately 11.63 hectares (28.73 acres), contains the existing residential dwelling and outbuilding, will remain the Rural (RU), Environmental Protection (EP) and Environmentally Sensitive (ES) Zones. All Environmental Protection Zoning will remain in place.
The Public Hearing / Public Meeting is held in accordance with the requirements of the Planning Act. The purpose of the meeting is for Council Members to formally hear and receive public and agency comments. The intent of this statutory Public Hearing / Meeting is to receive public feedback and incorporate it into a recommendation report from Staff. No decision will be made during this meeting.
