The 2019-2022 Strategic Plan was approved by Council at the May 21st meeting.
Approximately 250 residents provided input on the Strategic Plan through the community consultations and an online survey. 
This process resulted in a completed Strategic Plan that reflects the wants of the community and also highlights the priorities of Council.

Shine a Light on Community Living CampaignTowns and cities across Ontario will be a little brighter on the evening of May 3rd, 2019.
That’s because buildings and structures in communities across the province will be illuminated in blue and green as part of the fourth annual  Shine a Light on Community Living   campaign.  In Trent Hills, the Municipal Office at 66 Front Street South will have green and blue lights on the exterior of the building.

The Flood Warning issued for the Trent Hills area by the Lower Trent Conservation Authority remains in place.  The Municipality is monitoring the situation on a regular basis and will respond as needed to current conditions. 
At this time, residents who live in low lying areas are encouraged to take precautions to protect their property, as the weather forecast and water management predictions are anticipating water levels similar to levels reached in 2014.
