Certified Candidates Announced for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election

Municipality of Trent Hills, August 24, 2026 – The Clerk's Office is pleased to announce the official list of certified candidates for the upcoming Municipal and School Board Election to be held on October 26, 2026.

Following the close of nominations and the certification process, the following candidates have been confirmed to appear on the ballot:

"The certification of candidates marks an important milestone in the election process," said Jessica Polley, Clerk and Returning Officer. "We encourage all eligible voters to learn about the candidates, confirm they are on the voters' list, and participate in the upcoming election."

Key Election Dates

Voting Day: Monday, October 26, 2026
Advance Voting Dates: October 14, 2026 through October 25, 2026

The Municipal and School Board Election provides residents with the opportunity to elect representatives to municipal councils and local school boards who will help shape the community's future.
