• Public skating is an opportunity for a leisurely skate for all ages.
• Sticks and pucks are not permitted.
• Adult supervision is required for children ages 12 and under.
• CSA-approved hockey helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.
• CSA-approved hockey helmets are mandatory for children five years of age or younger.
• Only people wearing skates are allowed on the ice.
• Skate at a sensible and safe speed in the same direction as other skaters; backward skating is not allowed.

NEW: Public Skating Wednesdays and Fridays $2.50 per person, $6 per family of 5.

• Stick and Puck is a drop-in recreational skate for parents and guardians to help children practice and develop skating, stick handling and passing skills in a non-competitive environment.
• Parents/guardians must accompany their children on the ice, wearing skates and a CSA-certified hockey helmet.
• A CSA-certified hockey helmet with an attached face mask/cage is required for children.
• Children must have a hockey stick.
• Hockey nets are provided. 
• Strollers are not allowed on the ice during Stick and Puck.
• Please be mindful of others when you are shooting the puck.

Family: $6.00 (up to 5 individuals, including 2 adults)

Per Skater: $2.50 (under 6 free)

• Non-competitive, non-contact, informal drop-in hockey program.
• Shinny Hockey is available in 3 categories.

• This is a non-competitive environment. Please be inclusive and mindful of players of all skill levels and abilities, and keep a fun environment.
• CSA-approved helmets and full equipment are mandatory for all players and goalies.
• Shinny is not intended for organized teams.
• Referees are not provided.
• Do not sit on the boards.
• No body-checking is allowed.
• Youth Shinny MUST have adults on the ice supervising.
• This activity is not directly supervised. Report any concerns to staff.

• Figure skating drop-in solely for figure skating practice
• Skaters must be a CFSA member and be accompanied by a Coach

1. Party Duration & Spaces: Birthday parties are allotted two (2) hours total, which includes 1 hour on the ice, plus 1 hour upstairs in the auditorium. The first hour of the party is on the ice, the second hour is upstairs in the auditorium. 

2. Safety: All participants must wear a CSA approved helmet on the ice. Participants must wear appropriate, properly fitted safety equipment for the activity. Required hockey equipment must be used for hockey activities. 

3. Transition & exit: Guests may arrive 30 minutes early to begin setting up the auditorium and access their dressing room ahead of the ice rental. Guests must exit the ice after 50 minutes to allow time to flood before the next rental.

4. Supervision: Children must be actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Arena staff are not responsible for supervising children during the event. 

5. Food & Beverage: All food and beverages must remain in the auditorium or dressing room area. Please use the garbages provided.

6. Alcohol: Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises.

7. Respect for Facility & Others: All guests must show respect for the facility, its equipment, and the members of the general public. Disruptive behavior or damage may result in removal and charged for repairs.
