Enbridge Gas Main Replacement Downtown Campbellford
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Natural gas pipeline work in your area
Please note that Enbridge Gas is replacing natural gas pipelines in Campbellford to ensure the ongoing safe and reliable delivery of natural gas service.
Beginning the week of September 21, 2026, crews will be working in the area through December 2026. Work is expected to take place Monday through Saturday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances may result in schedule changes.
Most construction activities will occur within the municipal right-of-way, though temporary access to properties may be required to safely access our natural gas pipelines and equipment.
Project Scope
- Bridge Street, between Front Street and Doxsee Avenue North
- Front Street South, between River Street and Market Street
What to Expect
- We will complete the work one block at a time, on one side of the street at a time
- Area residents and businesses may experience construction noise, dust and dirt
- Access to area homes and businesses will be maintained, and we will help manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic where necessary
- Parking near the work site will be limited
- Our traffic management plan requires periodic traffic lane reductions and/or closures
Temporary Interruption of Natural Gas Service
- Short-term disruption to natural gas service may occur but advance notification will be provided
- Our representatives will go door-to-door to restore natural gas service
- This work, inspection and relight service is at no cost, however, any safety violations, if identified, are the responsibility of the property owner for repair
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we carry out this important work.
For questions or concerns during construction, please contact Construction Field Supervisor Aaron Sorley at

We recognize the traditional keepers of this land and, specifically our neighbours of the Alderville First Nation, with a formal territorial acknowledgement.
Welcome to the Gunshot Treaty Lands of 1788. It is on these lands and on the shores of the big lake, the Mississauga Anishinabeg met with the Crown to facilitate the opening of these lands for
settlement.
Let us be reminded of the responsibility we all have in making sure that we respect these lands and waters that give us life and sustain our livelihoods.
