May 17-23, 2026 - National Public Works Week
The Municipality of Trent Hills proclaims May 17 - 23, 2026 as National Public Works Week.
On behalf of the Municipality of Trent Hills, we are proud to recognize National Public Works Week and extend our appreciation to the dedicated staff who help keep our communities safe, connected, and running smoothly every day.
From maintaining roads, bridges, water and wastewater systems, parks, and public facilities, to responding during storms and emergencies, our public works professionals provide essential services that residents rely on year-round. Their commitment, skill, and hard work often happen behind the scenes, yet their impact is visible throughout our municipality.
National Public Works Week is an opportunity to thank these employees for their dedication to building and maintaining strong, sustainable, and resilient communities. We also recognize the important partnerships between municipal staff, contractors, and community members that contribute to the quality of life we enjoy in Trent Hills.
Please join us in celebrating and thanking our Public Works team for their continued service and commitment to our community.
Happy National Public Works Week!

Land Acknowledgement
We recognize the traditional keepers of this land and, specifically our neighbours of the Alderville First Nation, with a formal territorial acknowledgement.
Welcome to the Gunshot Treaty Lands of 1788. It is on these lands and on the shores of the big lake, the Mississauga Anishinabeg met with the Crown to facilitate the opening of these lands for
settlement.
Let us be reminded of the responsibility we all have in making sure that we respect these lands and waters that give us life and sustain our livelihoods.
