Notice of Rescheduled Council Meeting

Please be advised that the upcoming council meeting, originally scheduled for April 28, 2026, has been rescheduled to May 19, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. This change has been made out of respect for a member of council who is currently facing a serious personal family matter.

To avoid meetings occurring in close succession, the May 26, 2026 Council meeting has also been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 2, at 1:00 p.m. The regularly scheduled Public Meeting will proceed that evening on June 2 at 6:00 p.m.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and flexibility during this time.

In accordance with POL-PWK-002 and at the discretion of the Emergency Control Group

Water levels in some areas of Trent Hills are currently rising well above normal.
Residents are encouraged to stay alert and prepared as conditions continue to evolve.

📞 Supply Access Update:

Residents requiring plastic wrap, plastic bags and ties can call:
705-653-1900 (during business hours)
705-653-2610 (after hours)
Municipal staff will deliver supplies as needed.

Land Acknowledgement

We recognize the traditional keepers of this land and, specifically our neighbours of the Alderville First Nation, with a formal territorial acknowledgement.

Welcome to the Gunshot Treaty Lands of 1788. It is on these lands and on the shores of the big lake, the Mississauga Anishinabeg met with the Crown to facilitate the opening of these lands for
settlement.

Let us be reminded of the responsibility we all have in making sure that we respect these lands and waters that give us life and sustain our livelihoods.
