TEMPORARY CLOSURE Ranney Falls Swing Bridge
Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site
CAMPBELLFORD, ON – SEPTEMBER 29, 2026 - Parks Canada advises that the Ranney Falls Swing Bridge, located at 15 Trent Drive in Campbellford, Ontario, will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from Monday, October 5, 2026, through Wednesday, October 7, 2026, inclusive.
This closure is necessary to complete required maintenance, including a full re-decking of the bridge. Boat traffic will not be affected by the closure.
Closure signage will be posted, and traffic can use Bridge Street, West to access the island via Trent Drive.
Parks Canada would like to thank community members and visitors for their patience and understanding.
