📜 The Municipality of Trent Hills proclaims September 28, 2025 as National British Home Child Day.
This day is recognized as National British Home Child Day to honour the boys and girls who were sent to Canada as indentured servants. These children worked on farms or were domestic servants in the Municipality of Trent Hills, many of these children settled in this area and continued to call Trent Hills their home.
The clock tower will be lit Red, Blue and White in honour of National British Home Child Day.

Welcome to the Gunshot Treaty Lands of 1788. It is on these lands and on the shores of the big lake, the Mississauga Anishinabeg met with the Crown to facilitate the opening of these lands for
