Trent Hills Public Works Staff Shine at 2026 Northumberland Roadeo

The Municipality of Trent Hills is proud to congratulate Jeff Nielsen on his outstanding first-place finish at the 2026 Northumberland Roadeo.

Jeff delivered an exceptional performance, earning a score more than 50 points ahead of the competition in an event worth 370 points overall. His impressive achievement has earned him the opportunity to represent Trent Hills and Northumberland County once again at the Provincial Championship.

We would also like to recognize Cody Fisher, one of our newer Public Works team members, who participated in the competition for the first time. Cody demonstrated strong skills and confidence while navigating many of the event's challenging obstacles. Competing in the Roadeo for the first time is a significant accomplishment, and Cody represented Trent Hills with professionalism and determination.

This achievement is also a testament to the dedication and expertise of our entire Public Works team. Every day, staff safely operate large vehicles and specialized equipment in a variety of conditions while delivering essential services to our community. Their commitment to safety, professionalism, and excellence reflects the pride they take in their work and the important role they play in keeping our roads, infrastructure, and residents safe.
