Splash Pad Temporary Closure

The Municipality of Trent Hills advises residents that the Campbellford Splash Pad is temporarily closed until further notice due to a mechanical failure.

Municipal staff have been working to diagnose and repair the issue; however, the repairs could not be completed today. The splash pad will remain closed while the necessary repairs are carried out to ensure the facility can be reopened safely.

We understand this is disappointing, particularly during the current warm weather, and apologize for the inconvenience. Staff will continue working to restore the splash pad as quickly as possible.

Residents looking for other ways to enjoy the outdoors are encouraged to visit the Municipality's Recreation and Tourism pages for information on local swimming locations, parks, trails, and other seasonal activities.

The Municipality will provide an update as soon as the splash pad is ready to reopen.

Land Acknowledgement

We recognize the traditional keepers of this land and, specifically our neighbours of the Alderville First Nation, with a formal territorial acknowledgement.

Welcome to the Gunshot Treaty Lands of 1788. It is on these lands and on the shores of the big lake, the Mississauga Anishinabeg met with the Crown to facilitate the opening of these lands for
settlement.

Let us be reminded of the responsibility we all have in making sure that we respect these lands and waters that give us life and sustain our livelihoods.
