The Municipality of Trent Hills proclaims June 28, 2025 as Campbellford and District Horticultural Society Day.

The Campbellford & District Horticultural Society is celebrating 50 Years of service with a special event. Founded in 1975, the Campbellford and District Horticultural Society, serving all of Trent Hills, is made up of people at different stages of the 'gardening curve'. Some of us are just beginners, while others are well-seasoned. The society believes that we all have a lot more to learn.

On Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm - Celebrate at the Tented Display at the Campbellford Clocktower Building and Native Plant Garden (36 Front St. S.,)

  • See the historic and current displays
  • Enjoy some cake and lemonade
  • Children and families can enjoy a planting activity nearby at the Campbellford Farmers' Market

Land Acknowledgement

We recognize the traditional keepers of this land and, specifically our neighbours of the Alderville First Nation, with a formal territorial acknowledgement.

Welcome to the Gunshot Treaty Lands of 1788. It is on these lands and on the shores of the big lake, the Mississauga Anishinabeg met with the Crown to facilitate the opening of these lands for
settlement.

Let us be reminded of the responsibility we all have in making sure that we respect these lands and waters that give us life and sustain our livelihoods.
