1. Severance Consent Application B04/2026, Notice of Public Meeting (Loucks)
Description of the Proposal:
Severance Consent Application B04/2026, proposes to create one (1) new parcel, being approximately 1.93 hectares (4.77 acres) containing an existing surplus farm dwelling and outbuildings from the originating parcel approximately 40.47 hectares (100 acres) in size.
The retained portion, being approximately 38.54 hectares (95.23 acres) of vacant farmland.
Zoning By-law Amendment Application C01/2026 has been submitted in conjunction with this application.
2. Zoning By Law Amendment Application C01/2026, Notice of Public Meeting (Loucks)
Description of the Proposal:
Take Notice that the Council for the Municipality of Trent Hills has received a complete application to consider a proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment to amend the Municipality of Trent Hills Zoning By-law 2010-105, under Section 34 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, C. p. 13.
Subsequent to Severance Consent Application B04/2026, the purpose and effect of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to recognize the creation of one (1) new parcel, being approximately 1.93 hectares (4.77 acres) containing an existing surplus farm dwelling and outbuildings. The current zoning of the subject lands is the Agricultural (A) Zone and Environmental Protection (EP) Zone.
The proposed zoning for Severance Consent Application B04/2026 will be the Rural Residential (RR) Zone. The proposed zoning for the retained portion, being approximately 38.54 hectares (95.23 acres) of vacant farmland, will be rezoned to Agricultural Exception (A*) Zone, in which no residential building permit(s) will be issued for this parcel of land. All Environmental Protection (EP) Zoning will remain in place.
3. Severance Consent Application B05/2026, Notice of Public Meeting (Forestell)
Description of the Proposal:
Severance Consent Application B05/2026 proposes a lot line adjustment / lot addition from the originating parcel known as 0 Brights Lane, legally described above as the “Originating Parcel”, Roll # 14 35 229 050 02845 0000 to 46 Brights, legally described above as the “Benefitting Parcel”, Roll #14 35 229 050 02811 0000. An irregular tract parcel that contains a privately maintained portion of Brights Lane that is approximately 1.15 acres (0.47 hectares) will be severed from the Originating Parcel (approximately 2.93 acres [1.19 hectares]) and merge with the Benefitting Parcel. The Benefitting Parcel’s current size is approximately 0.68 acres (0.28 hectares) which is vacant land. The overall Benefitting Parcel’s proposed size will be 1.83 acres (0.74 hectares), once the lot line adjustment / lot addition is completed.
The proposed retained portion of the Originating Parcel, being approximately 1.80 acres (0.73 hectares), is vacant land.
